According to Boston College High head coach Norm Walsh, the games showcased the players to exhibit their talents to baseball fans, college coaches and Major League scouts while raising funds for ALS research. The Tournament raised $10,000 for the Angel Fund.
Thank you to: Catholic Memorial, Newton North High School, St. John’s Prep vs. Walpole High School, Xaverian Brothers, Norwood High School, Boston College High School, Braintree High School and all attendees for their support to find a cure for ALS.
“We are grateful for all donations, and we are proud to say that the total research funding of The Angel Fund averages 90% of the total expenditures incurred. That statistic alone makes us stand out as a very special – and dedicated – organization,” Rich Kennedy said.
