1st Annual Cornhole Tourmament

1st Annual Cornhole Tourmament

On a beautiful afternoon in the historic North End of Boston, friends and family gathered at the first annual “Cornhole to Strike Out ALS” event on Saturday, September 11. The event was organized by Ryan Charter and hosted at Copp’s Hill Terrace in Boston overlooking Boston Harbor and the Bunker Hill Monument.
“This horrible disease has taken too many beautiful souls from us, including my grandmother, Sheila Duggan Charter, who I never had the chance to meet. Her vibrant nature, love for singing, and relentless wit and humor make me think we would have been a tight pair,” said Charter. “ALS touches my family and so many others.” ;br] Participants enjoyed catering from Blue Ribbon BBQ while playing in a two-person round robin cornhole tournament. The event raised ____$3,260_____, with all proceeds donated to The Angel Fund. Charter said plans are already underway to make it an annual event, “until it doesn’t need to be an annual event” added Charter.
